How do we get the registration number?

Little Athletics Queensland (LAQ) rolled out a brand-new Athlete Number and Bib System in the 25-26 season.

All bibs and patches are posted directly to your registered home address, with no need to collect Rego packs from your Centre.  A welcome letter is included with instructions on how to attach bibs (pins, velcro, or sewn).

Do athletes get a new number this year (Season 26-27)?

It depends. If you are a NEW athlete, you will receive your Little Athletics Queensland number on your bib for the first time.

If you are RETURNING, you will still receive a new bib but the number should be the same as last year's.

Question 4

Can I choose the registration number?

Accepted Answer

No – numbers are automatically generated by LAQ. Each athlete now has a unique lifetime number that stays with them for their entire Little Athletics journey.

How can I get a 2nd or 3rd bib number for crops or singlets?

It's possible to order these directly via your LAQ Sport80 account. CNLA can't order for these on your behalf any longer.

Do we still use the red age patches?

No. Age groups are now printed directly on your registration bib. Please remove old patches from uniforms to avoid confusion.

Can I order an extra or replacement bib?

Will I get a new bib every year?

Accepted Answer

Yes – although your number stays the same, a new bib is posted out each season with your updated age group.

How long will my bib take to arrive? And what if it hasn't arrived?

Bibs take 2–3 weeks after registering. If you haven't received - please complete this form.

Question 10

Can my child still compete without their bib?

Accepted Answer

Yes – write the number on their hand or attach it on paper to their top or via a wristband until the bib arrives.

Bib Size & Placement - where does it go?

Accepted Answer

All bibs are one standard size designed to fit small shirts and crop tops.
