ABOUT US

Originally known as Kedron Little Athletics, the club was established in 1983. Over the years, City North has produced many athletes that have had success at state, national and international levels. As part of your membership, all athletes are affiliated with  Little Athletics Queensland.

City North Little Athletics is part of the Met North region within LAQ and we regularly compete alongside the other clubs in our region: Arana, Aspley, Bracken Ridge, Dayboro (new for 2025), Redcliffe, The Gap, and Strathpine.

We are focused on creating a supportive and encouraging space for families to come together and enjoy the benefits of physical activity. Our focus on family, fun, and fitness ensures that everyone can find a place in our community.

We are a club run by volunteers and every little bit of support goes a long way.  Each registration includes a portion paid to LAQ, as well as towards the upkeep and improvement of our equipment, club, and coaching. We have paid coaches that support and grow our athletes

Family

Family involvement plays a vital role in the success of Little Athletics. Our athletes are given a greater sense of pride when they see their parents assisting with the program.

Fun

The level of competition depends on what you, as a family, want to make. Some children compete only at their own centre, while others aspire to Regionals, States and even National levels. Each child should be encouraged to consider self-improvement as their personal aim.
